"As soon as you pulled up the valet was very friendly and helpful with directions. The view to the ocean took my breath away as soon as you walked in to the main entrance. I enjoyed my stay and it was very pleasant having staff text me about current events and things going on around the area. For example the volcano being active so that we didn’t get to miss anything special about Hawaii. I didn’t even have to go anywhere and got to see sea turtles right outside the restaurant after breakfast the day before we were going to leave."

"As far as a VRBO this was excellent, however is is in the middle of a community. Not shocked by that, just since there is no air conditioning, you need to leave the windows open, with mostly sheer curtains in the house it makes for very little privacy in the evenings. Otherwise it was very clean, well stocked, easy to check in and the host was very friendly and always responded very quickly."

"We felt very much at home during our visit. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Kitchen supplies were well stocked and the beach closet had everything we needed. Recommend Pineapple’s Island Cuisine for dinner and Loved By the Sun for açaí bowls and smoothies. Would stay again."

"House is clean but it is an older home. The home has beach chairs, snorkle gear and a cooler which makes it nice to explore and have beach days. There were lots of games with two TVs in the home for entertainment on vacation. The home is an interesting layout with the laundry room under the kitchen. You have to go outside down the stairs and go under the house. The home does not have air conditioning. During our stay, the weather was very humid which made it hotter than normal. Hilo usually is cooler so this was not normal. Overall this home is clean, easy to get to and check in and out was super easy."

"The house was a good size and at a decent location not far from downtown Hilo and on the way to Hawaiian Volcanoes National Park. The house is a bit on the older side. Although it doesn’t have AC, we didn’t need it in early September as there are fans in every room and it cooled down at night. There is an invasive frog on Hawaii and it croaks really loudly at night so I recommend taking ear plugs or ear buds to wear. The property manager was very responsive whenever I contacted him."
