"Absolute Empfehlung: Gelungener Umbau mit einer riesigen sehr schönen modernen Wellness-Area, einem top-eleganten Fitness-Center (wahrscheinlich dem schönsten, in dem ich jeweils war, sehr nobel). Sehr saubere Zimmer mit einer gemütlichen Licht-Atmosphäre und detailverliebtem Turn-Down Service.
Ein weiteres grosses Plus: Das Essen auf höchstem Niveau - angefangen bei der exzellenten Kuchenauswahl am Nachmittag (so gut, dass ich sogar nach einem Rezept gefragt habe).

"One of the best spontaneous decisions I’ve ever made; needed a place to stay during my motorcycle adventure through the Black Forest and this was amazing! The extremely friendly staff, food, property, everything…I wish I had known about this area sooner, I definitely would have made this my normal stop more often."

"What we didn’t like was the restaurant outside dining was below our window and the cigarette smoke came in our window. The crowd was noisy. But the restaurant closed at ten then it was very quiet."
"I would definitely stay here again. The views are amazing, the property is quiet, the pool and sauna were great. For a family of four, we had the Deluxe Apartment and it was plenty of space. The rooms were large, the bathtubs overlooking the woods were amazing. There are a couple restaurants not too far away, but we ended up going to the grocery store and cooking at home because we wanted to spend most of our time in the room. "
"We were looking for a smaller hotel with a traditional Schwarzwald flair in a beautiful location, and this fit the bill perfectly! This is an old house, but entirely up to modern standards inside, with a friendly staff and warm feel. The room was cozy, looking out on the quiet main plaza with its church. We had dinner twice in the excellent restaurant. Breakfast was great - don't forget to make yourself fresh juice or even get eggs to order. There was even a small swimming pool, sauna, a desk with lounge chairs, a great view, and a bar. The Schluchsee was a bit low in water when we were there, but I imagine it is prettier when full, so we hiked around nearby Titisee instead. Highly recommended. "
"Quirky place high up in the mountains. Beautiful setting. Great breakfast and good sizes rooms, however the walls are paper thin so you hear your neighbours at all hours. We didn’t get much of a lie in! Our shower was luke warm and not very powerful. "
