"Pros: We really enjoyed the beautiful views in three different directions from all windows, the very nice owners and the home made jam. It's not very clear from the webpage but it's possible to order bread in the morning which is very convenient, especially on the very first date. The village is peaceful and quiet and there are a lot of hiking options around. There are plenty of wonderful waterfalls in the neighbourhood."

"Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt in der Wohnung. Die Vermieter waren unkompliziert und sehr freundlich. Uns hat besonders die gut ausgestattete Küche, das gemütliche Sofa und grosse Schlafzimmer mit zusätzlichen Sitzgelegenheiten gefallen. Bad war auch sehr gross und das zusätzliches Gäste-WC ein Plus. Gemütlicher Essbereich mit Eckbank, wobei dort Sitzkissen nett wären. WLAN war ein wenig ruckelig. Kommen gerne wieder."

"The room was nice and tidy, and the area was great. The customer service was extremely slow. We did not get an email about how to check in and had to call up to get access to the room. After 3 days of emailing around to various people, I finally got in contact with someone, but still yet to receive a check in email. There was also reference to a folder in the apartment that supposedly had check out instructions, this did not exist either. "

"This is a beautiful place. Gorgeous landscaping, plenty of places to sit or walk the trails. Very clean. We didn't like the shower in our room, and there were quite a few stairs to our elevator which was difficult with luggage. I really would have stayed longer if we could. "This is a lovely little family run hotel in the high Black Forest. The owners were very accommodating, even offering to cook for us on the first night despite it being the one night a week when the restaurant is closed. The hotel owners only took over in December 2024 and are working hard to improve an already lovely place. The breakfast spread was lovely, lots of fresh and delicious food. In the evening the menu is lots of traditional mountain food, again all delicious. The hotel is a ski hotel in the winter, but in the summer when we went it is a great place for family walks up the high peaks of the Black Forest including Seebuck, Feldburg and Herzogenhorn. It is also just a short drive down the hill to Titisee if you want to enjoy the pleasures of the lake or the enormous indoor waterpark. Overall it is a great spot for a few days of mountain peace and beauty. Eating breakfast whilst looking out across the cows on the hill outside eating theirs is a great way to start the day."

"I would definitely stay here again. The views are amazing, the property is quiet, the pool and sauna were great. For a family of four, we had the Deluxe Apartment and it was plenty of space. The rooms were large, the bathtubs overlooking the woods were amazing. There are a couple restaurants not too far away, but we ended up going to the grocery store and cooking at home because we wanted to spend most of our time in the room. "
