"Room clean and comfortable. Tv wasn’t smart and had a limited amount of channels. Breakfast had plenty of options however kitchen staff seemed quite unprofessional laughing, shouting and swearing. Many guests were handling food with their hands instead of using tongs. "

Only personal gripe is that the website doesn't highlight that some rooms are only accessible via stairs (think they might have been putting in a lift at the time) I would have booked different rooms within the hotel if I'd realised but that wouldn't be an issue for most people."

Staff were generally friendly, but TBH we didn’t have a lot of interaction with them which was fine for us. If get breakfast was warm & a adequate selection, though a mall amount of manners by some guests wouldn’t go a miss.The location is the star, just 20 mins walk to the centre & simple to navigate. Tight parking on the front of the premises, but plenty of spaces around the back . Overall the hotel ticks all the boxes for a base if your visiting Oxford for a few days ."
