"For the cost the room was very basic. Staff member just showed me to the room with no info about how to get back in if the pub was closed or how to leave the next day when no-one would be around. No details given on Internet password or even asking if I had any questions, my very presence seemed to be an inconvenience. Shared areas full of rubbish, want to have a shower? Best bring your own shower gel as nothing is provided. Visit was Feb but no heating in the toilet/shower room I won't be coming back."

"A Perfect Stay at Barley Heights CottageWe had the pleasure of staying at Barley Heights Cottage for a month, and it was a fantastic experience. The cottage is well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The views from the cottage are absolutely stunning – truly breathtaking.As a dog owner, we especially appreciated the fact that the walks with the dogs started right at the doorstep. They loved the trails, and felt so at ease knowing they could run around safely. The host was incredibly helpful, always willing to go the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed.The only downside was the road leading up to the cottage. It's a little rough, but it’s manageable. Once you get used to it and take it slow, it’s no problem at all.Overall, I’d definitely stay at Barley Heights again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with amazing views and great walks for pets!"

"It was a great stay in the outskirts of Haslingden. The property is immaculate. It was also great because we went with our in laws who are quite old and can’t climb stairs so having everything on ground floor was the best thing. The view from the living/dining roomWas just great. Few suggestions though1. The property location- since there is no particular post code, having some sort of banner to direct towards the property. 2. Description of water, when I first read, I was under impression that there is no hot water in the property. I feel the information about water is immaterial as there is no difference to how normally water is used in England Mention of underfloor heating- since there is UFH, it’s amazing to have this. Mentioning this will enhance the rentablity. The exhaust fan over the cooker- we couldn’t find the switch so we had to use a stool to operate that. Put some extra tissue paperOverall this is one of our best stay in recent time. I would definitely recommend this place. "
