It was an excellent experience living at Blackwood Residence. Staff was great and helpful. Place is so cleaning and free continental breakfast available. I definitely recommend.

It was really clean and quite place for perfect staying. I was not expecting such place in this price range. There was no hustle while going there. Really value for money. I definitely recommend and will come again.

Perfect for a place just to lay your head. The room was tidy and clean. The shower had low pressure and the room was cold. Very convenient location, close to town and easy travel access to cities like Blackburn and Manchester.

My recent stay at Blackwood residence was brilliant. From the moment I stepped through the front doors up until my stay had ended I was amazed by the brilliant service. The room was a sanctuary of comfort and style, impeccably clean with modern furnishing. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was perfect. If you are visiting Accrington or the surrounding areas then I highly recommend Blackwood residence for your stay, I will definitely be rebooking once I am back in the area. Thanks to all.

Ok just to sleep

The room was ok clean and comfy bed the mirror in bathroom and bedroom was too high up on the wall could only see top of my head so couldnt put makeup on the property had a communal kitchen reminded me of a hostel it was a bit messy not enough plates and cups the fridge was messy too the microwave needs changing as it was starting to rust around the insid edges so i would avoid the kitchen also couldent watch tv as it had no satalight signal

There was no one there i had to phone them up to be given a code which i had no instructions on doing this before i arrived Walls paper thin felt like someone was in my shower singing while lying in bed can hear everyone conversation

Despite paying by PayPal on making the reservation, the morning before my stay I received a text to say I needed to pay by BACS to receive the entrance code. Shortly before we arrived, I received a phone call asking about my difficulty in closing the room door. I pointed out I still had to arrive at the property. The parking was on-street and as there were no spaces left in front of the property I parked to its rear. We then opened the room door only to find another couple occupying the room. On comparing booking details, we saw that we both had a reservation for the same room. After a phone call we were allocated an alternative room. While generally clean the room was cold. The single radiator did not come on at all during our stay and unfortunately the controls were inaccessible as the bed was pushed right up against the radiator. As the outside temperature was below zero, we spent an uncomfortably cold night. In the morning, being cold and wishing to vacate the property quickly, my wife and I did not venture into the kitchen for the self-service breakfast. All in all, not an experience we would wish to repeat.
