Amazing hotel staff couldn't do enough for us, best place to stay in Darwen. Breakfast was amazing bed so comfortable will definitely stay again thankyou so much
Beautiful hotel with everything you need the rooms are modern quality and comfort , the hotel staff are so helpful and friendly highly recommend this hotel
Welcoming staff at all stages of the stay.
Breakfast was excellent.
Darwen Tower is very close and a lovely walk for a young family with fantastic views of the area.
I was only there for 1x night, with my dog (Reggie).
Made to feel so welcome, options for dinner etc. Also a lovely welcome pack for Reg ❤️
Lovely warm clean room, a real shame I didn’t get a chance to eat as the restaurant and menu looked good.
Brilliant stay. Really friendly staff. Outstanding value for money. Really handy for anyone going to ewood park. Opened the bar for us on arrival and brought the kids sandwiches and crisps. Thoroughly recommend
We were very positively surprised by the hotel which we thought was good value for the price. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was large, clean and tidy and had tea and coffee making facilities. We were given a front door key to allow us to return after hours which was very helpful. I would like to go back and explore the gin distillery.
Parked up in the large car park before checking in. Nice room on the ground floor which was spacious. Quality TV, tea and coffee facilities. Decent bathroom with bath / shower combined. Only cons were toilet was difficult to flush and there is no fridge or safe. Breakfast was included and is fantastic.

The hotel is an attractive looking building and communal space was lovely. The staff were very helpful and I had a lovely meal and the gin was lovely. However the drawback was the room which did not match the rest of the facility. It had black curtains and reminded me of a dungeon. Despite this the room was very clean.

The property was set back from the road with its own drive. Plenty of parking spaces. Ideal location for weddings or events. The staff very helpfull and friendly. We were impressed by them. Our double bedroom was a nice size and clean but needed refreshing. Breakfast was very good. As a wedding was being held there it was quiet noisy in the evening but had gone quiet by midnight. We had an issue with the cold water tap on last night of our stay as no water coming out.
The property was amazing the staff was friendly and couldnt do enuff for us, the down side was expedia, who didnt have an account with them so the took my money and promised me the earth, but when i got to the hotel there was no booking took me 1.5hrs to get incontact with expedia who tried to send me somewhere else at 23.45 at night, it wasn't acceptable, but the hotel was more than welcoming and helped me out more than they should of, this hotel was amazing
My room was a good size but the mattress had seen better days and needed replacing. I had fish and chips in the restaurant which was £18.95 and I had 9 chips and the fish was about 5 inches long , it was tasty but far too expensive for what you got, I didn’t eat again in the restaurant. The staff were very nice especially the girl at breakfast, just a shame about the other issues. .
