"Great location and decently comfortable room but the place is clearly neglected and falling apart, which is no surprise given the absentee staff here. Baseboards were missing in a couple spots in the room, carpet was filthy and had some weird sticky spots, and the door to my own room, and several others on my floor needed serious adjustments. Basically it was like they were either too large for the door frame size, or hinges needed serious adjustments. It was a serious struggle to get it open or shut it, which meant a lot of noise each time. There was no way anyone with an upper body disability would have been able to open my door, which is a safety hazard. Now, like many properties, they send you a text message after check-in to use to reach out to them if you need anything during your stay. Given this property only does housekeeping every two days, it's more likely guests will need to utilize this to get a couple extra towels or TP between housekeeping visits. But the staff ignores ALL messages sent. No action and zero acknowledgement that you reached out. So prepare to wait at the front desk for any and all issues, requests, whatever. Ridiculous and unacceptable. Absolutely won't stay here again for this reason, despite the ideal location."

"Terrible Staff. I arrived at the hotel around 3pm Front desk informed me that my room was to be ready @ 4pm. Which is totally understandable. I did arrive early. I came back to the hotel at 4. And still they claimed the room was not ready. 4pm is check in time. Front desk said “We will call you on your phone once it is ready Sir”. They never bothered to call me back, I called the customer service line and they hung up. lol. I’m not the type to be rude or cause a scene. But I did press them by 6pm to get my room ready. It was disheartening because I sat for 2 hours in the lobby watching others check in to their rooms with ease as they arrived. My room was delayed until 6:45pm. I was late for a dinner reservation because of this. This was my first experience in New Orleans. It was Mardi Gras weekend, and I understand that things happen especially during a holiday season like that. But it was the unprofessionalism of how the staff treated me. Not once did they show empathy or try to offer any concessions. You will be able to see all the action in the French Quarter right from your hotel room window. The location is perfect, the building is historical. And other than the rude front desk staff. It was overall a good place to stay."

"We had a great stay here! The hotel was in a great location on the end of Bourbon St. and was a quick walk to the river. The room was cozy and we enjoyed the balcony overlooking the pool. The staff also very nice and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again."
