"Neutral: Housekeeping is done "as requested". I actually like this, but some people may not. The Good: The room was big enough and the bathrooms were moderately clean. Kitchen area was clean and seemed well maintained. Bed was comfortable. The location is close to many restaurants and only about 15 mins from the train station (Metra). Plenty of desk space and comfortable chairs. The Bad: There were condom wrappers and articles of clothing under the bed. The A/C worked good, but was loud kicking on and off. I could also hear music on Friday and Saturday night, all night. Seemed to be coming from the parking lot and other room/s on our floor. You could easily hear the conversations in the next room when you turn the TV off. TV was older and small. Ultimately, I have traveled a lot and been in much worse locations. For the price and convenience, I would stay here again. I doubt I would bring my family though."

"The hotel in general was a little dingy. The staff were not friendly, and the A.C. in the room worked but clunked every time it turned on or off. The tub also had a clog and the beds were hard. It was fine for one night, but I wouldn't recommend for long stays."

"Staff was courteous, the rooms were generally clean but you could see the wear from use. So it's not the most up to date. Staff were courteous and helpful. My biggest gripe was all rooms were very poorly lit and pretty dark for my liking as I was working remotely from my room I prefer well lit settings. I requested multiple times for a spare lamp or a desk lamp but none were provided"

"The broken air conditioner couldn't be adjusted to raise the temperature, and its plastic cover was broken and held together with tape. There was trash on the floor and the room smelled bad; the description says a queen bed, but the one in the room is a full-size bed."
