The kitchen is completely unequipped, not even basics like plates, and the amenities are extra (you need to pay extra to use the playroom). Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. "

"The Grand Hyatt Seoul has a fantastic location above Itaewon with beautiful views, and that's about all it has going for it. The service was among the worst I have experienced at a hotel in this category. I repeatedly asked for housekeeping and no one ever came. Turndown service simply doesn't exist here. For a property charging luxury rates, these are basics, not extras. Credit where it's due: a manager kindly moved me to a renovated room, which was a welcome gesture, and breakfast was decent enough. But one helpful staff member cannot make up for a hotel that seems indifferent to its guests. If you are considering the Grand Hyatt for a Seoul trip, I would strongly recommend the Four Seasons instead — comparable location in old Seoul, and they actually understand what service means."
