I do like Korean Airlines. Easy first stop at NYC from Seoul. Beats having to recheck bag on other US flights if NYC is your destination.

Best Time to Travel to Seoul

Peak Season:

The summer months, particularly July and August, are the peak season, bringing high temperatures and loads of tourists. August is the warmest month with temperatures lingering between 22 and 29 degrees Celsius. This time of year is also when the humidity is especially high and monsoons roll in, so be sure to pack rain gear just in case.

Shoulder Season:

The shoulder seasons in Seoul fall between May and June and September and December. The temperatures are mild during these months, fewer tourists tend to visit at this time, and the city’s scenery is a must-see.

Off Season:

January to April is the low season. The temperatures often drop below zero and snow blankets the city, but together they create the perfect conditions for skiing and snowboarding at the nearby slopes.
