Prior to registration, most of the north shore including the TVNC #1116 is a transient vacation rental located in the tsunami evacuation zone and the corresponding evacuation procedures are shown below: The Kauai Lagoon you’re vacation rental home located 3-scenic miles drive from the historic quaint town of Hanalei, is a rural country area on Kauai's north shore in Haena. This special area referred to as Tunnels beach, baby beach and sits on Kepuhi Point.

This isn’t a typical vacation rental—this is our home, thoughtfully designed to embrace the beauty of the Garden Isle. Building it was a lifelong dream and sharing it is a way for us to honor both the space and travelers like you who value meaningful experiences.

We personally manage every detail of our listing, and while we strive for everything to be perfect, sometimes things happen beyond our control. In those rare instances, we truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we do our best to make things right so your time here stays joyful.

To ensure the highest standard for each guest, we don’t offer same-day turnovers. Every stay is given the care and time it deserves. As part of our process, a signed rental agreement will be required after booking—we’ll send it over shortly.

We want to emphasize that our property has a strict no-pet policy, and guests are not authorized to bring animals under any circumstances. Allowing pets without disclosure not only violates our rules but also creates a ripple effect—when one guest gets away with it, others may feel empowered to do the same. This undermines the integrity of the hosting system and puts our family and future guests at risk, especially given our families severe allergies to animals', specifically dog and cat hair, pet dander.

Know before you go… decide if you are a hotel traveler or private space is your way. It’s important to know the answer to this for all your guests. Some travelers require AC and some do not. Hawaii is a tropical oasis, thus means tropical weather can range from high humidity, temp in 70-80’s coupled with our without humidity dress in light weight beach attire is appropriate. Each room includes a ceiling fan, additional portable fans on site. The home was designed to capture the trade winds to keep the air flowing to keep the home comfortable. During peak summer months July & August these months can be most humidity and warm. Keep in mind most of summer days are spent outside enjoying the beaches. January to April is winter to spring and can be rainy and cooler 60’s to 70’ at night, great sleeping weather. This is why you enjoy a nice home.
