"I was in Watkins Glen on business and didn't pay much attention to my housing. I'd rent it again. There's a Walmart just outside of town, the restaurants are unremarkable, there's a small marina, very limited shopping, and you need your own transportation. The locals have a drug problem. Watkins depends almost exclusively on tourism at the famous auto racing track and a park outside of town and is otherwise just a sleepy rural village in the middle of nowhere."

"Amazing house with all the necessities and rooms we needed to celebrate a girls weekend and turning 60! We lived on the covered outdoor patio (a huge plus) when we weren't touring all the local wineries. Not enough days to do everything we wanted, but the location was perfect! All appliances worked well. Plenty of paper products and dish detergent. Overall a good experience for the four women staying here. "

"This home is on a large property with no near neighbors, lending it a quiet atmosphere. The large fireplace up stairs, and the gas fireplace in the basement are great features. The huge dining table (seats 14) makes for a great center of operations. The well water has a distinct sulfur smell, but we brought water with us for drinking and cooking. Overall, very nice experience."
