"This was a beautiful property. Everything was clean, updated, and easy to find. The host left a very helpful instructional booklet describing how to use all of the amenities, and even instructions on how to best prepare the food. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we would love to stay here again!!"

"Great ryokan in Hakone housed in a historic building. Very serene, elegant and beautiful. The dinner and breakfast were provided in the room and were both outstanding with locally sourced food and aesthetic arrangements. Onsen hot bath has multiple options, both private and public. Location is close to the station area, within walking distance along the river. Highly recommended!"
