"Overall property condition is pretty new and very clean, bathroom is a bit small but setup very creatively to maximize space utilization. Location is close to tram tracks, so can be a bit noisy. Room has a washer only, no dryer, limited hangers to dry clothes maybe provide a foldable drying rack so that guests can put it out on the balcony in the summer or in the room as the room is pretty spacious (we have kids so we have more clothes to wash) "

"Wonderful stay - so comfortable and welcoming and in a great location (we came by train). Would definitely return as we loved the city as much as the hotel. "

"This hotel was a 5 minute walk from Hakodate station and right on the doorstep of the morning market. The Red Brick Warehouses were a 5 - 10 minute walk from the hotel and lots of transport options nearby to get around Hakodate.
The room we had, with an onsen bath, was very big.
The room itself was extremely quiet, having a door between the room and entrance area probably helped with the noise reduction.
The beds were extremely comfy and the pillows were not hard, in fact quite soft.
We had our own kitchenette and a nice seating area as well.
It had a washer/dryer next to the bathroom, separated to the main room by a sliding door - which again helped with noise reduction.
The best part of this room was the onsen bath and its sea views! We loved having a bath in the morning and evening when we stayed here, it made the stay even more wonderful.
We used the bar the one night, it was quiet and had amazing views over the city.
We would happily stay here again and recommend this hotel to everyone!"
"Really fantastic location - directly opposite Hakodate Station (you can literally see it from the station) and walking distance to a lot of restaurants. The ramen place next door (Shinano) has excellent Hakodate shio ramen but be warned, they sell out quickly so be ready to line up just before opening hours.
Very clean rooms and decently spacious by Japanese standards. The cleaning crew were excellent and really took care to make sure the place was spotless.
Great amenities - the hotel provides pyjamas which they change for you every night, and there is a section at reception for further amenities that aren't in your room (e.g. razors, tea bags). Washing machines are available on the ground floor for ¥600 per use (includes soap).
Just be warned for anyone with accessibility issues, that the bathroom is elevated above the room level and can be a trip hazard when trying to come back out. You also have to climb into the bathtub to shower.

"The clean room, the friendly staff, the enjoyment of bath on the top floor, and the fantastic breakfast made our stay excellent. This was our second time to stay at your hotel and we were very satisfied with it."
"This hotel is conveniently located right next to the JR Hakodate Station, which makes it an easy find. For breakfast, it provides a wide variety of local food which tasted delicious, such as the fresh seafood don and salt Ramen live station, and not forgetting the sparkling wine, red and white wine bar at the entrance. Room is of decent size and check in process is smooth. This hotel also comes with a laundrymat services, though it does not have an onsite onsen. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay at the hotel."
