"They don't have a reception desk, which is fine, but the access codes for both the front door and the luggage room didn't work. Every time I needed to enter the building, I had to call them and provide my reservation number, name, and length of stay. I contacted them twice by email requesting new codes, but the issue was never resolved. The room was not cleaned during my stay, and the towels were never changed."

"While the staff at the hotel was lovely, we did have some issues with our stay. The main problem was that (we came from the US) we brought converters and the outlets in the room were the UK type outlets, not the Iceland outlets so our converters didn't work. The only Iceland outlet was in the bathroom - not the ideal place to charge our electronics and only 1 outlet. There were usb outlets but none of them worked. The mattress pads were also made of some type of plastic that was LOUD and HOT. We took them off and just put the sheets on the mattresses to sleep."

"Great communication with the host, the property is clean. The location is walking distance to the main attractions in Reykjavik. Breakfast is brought in the fridge daily and at 8am we get the fresh bread bake from Sanholt! Excellent serbice from the reception.On our first day our power went out when we plugged in our power cord and the reception staff came to the apartment to get it fixed. Thank you - this is greatly appreciated."
