Hotel conveniently located if you need parking and will move around out of Reykjavik. Staff EXTREMELY friendly, very helpful with a smile in their faces. The room is too small. I was expecting a little more comfort for the price we paid. Bed is comfortable, just 1 pillow per person and 2 small separate blankets. Might be cultural, but we thought that unusual. The bathroom is also small. Breakfast very good, wonderful breads and a few local delicacies.

Hotel Reykjavík Lights is an excellent property that ai highly recommend. I felt safe due to its elevator security, and the breakfast buffet was outstanding. Anything a person could want was there and constantly refilled. Multiple restaurants are in walking distance, as well. The only downside was its distance from Old Town and the bus terminal, from which many tours embarked. A cab was necessary.

The property is nice and is located in a convenient location in Reykjavik. It is nice that they have a free breakfast. The shower in our room wasn’t very well designed so we’ll get the floor pretty wet and with the very high winds, our windows didn’t have good seals around them so it was making noise all night. Other than that, it was a good steak.
