The apartment was clean, roomy and comfortable, with a good bed, large TV, well equipped kitchen and great shower too. "Me, my partner and our two dogs stayed at rabbit hill hut for a week this July and honestly couldn't fault it. It had everything you could need. The Shepard's hut was perfect for the 4 of us to sleep, get washed and prepare light meals. The enclosed garden was fantastic for our lurcher and springer spaniel, they loved interacting with the horses and sheep in the next field, and we loved the extra seating area. Only met the host once in passing, he was really lovely to talk to about the area and...

"Absolutely lovely hotel, possibly 1of the best we’ve ever stayed in, from checking in to checking out, nothing was too much trouble. Emma on reception was so friendly, helpful and chatty, really made us feel welcome. The room was spotless. We had food in the restaurant in the evening, then breakfast the following morning. Food was absolutely delicious and again all the staff were so friendly and helpful. Definitely be back ."

"Staff upon arrival were friendly and pointed us in the direction of the bar and seats so we could relax until check in time 40 minutes later. Check in was relatively painless except none of the pre check-in information I’d provided earlier was available so I had to complete it all again. Not a huge problem but a little unnecessary duplicated effort. The bedroom and public are all a little bit tired and could do with some modernisation to bring them up to a higher standard befitting of the Hotel and its unique location and amenities. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful - fruit, cereal, continental and a buffet style Full Welsh. Other special dishes were also available like eggs Benedict etc. I didn’t bother with the spa but the modest swimming pool, sauna, steam room and gym were all very adequate for the period of the stay."
