"Thoughtful, friendly receptionists, cheerful serving staff, room had a beautiful view and was clean. No complaints other than old cobwebs in the swimming pool windows and pool was crowded and noisy due to kids swimming lessons, which cut the useable area of pool to half"

"We found the cottage to be spacious and very comfortable with everything there that was needed. We found the cottage and its surroundings to be peaceful with only the mooing of the cows to remind us of the environment that we wanted. I did message the owners on the morning we left to say how good our stay was but perhaps they did not receive it as we did not get a reply but hopefully this review will get to them for them to know we were grateful for such a good stay"

"All on one level property..Easy parking and minutes away from Chepstow and tescos one way and Hanley farmhouse the other way.Major attractions easily reached within one hour car journey.Property ideal if dog owner as huge dog paddock in front of property.Beds extremely comfortable. Great welcome pack.Hot tub with jacuzzi easy to use and when used at night with is lights most entertaining.Kitchen well-equipped but cooking a major 3 course meal could be a challenge.Leather sofa very low so if mobility/ balance issues could be a problem.Showers plenty of hot water and great pressure and easy to walk into.Good information brochure and some games for rainy days."

"The Nook was everything we'd hoped it would be, cosy quiet and relaxing with wonderful views. A get away from it all with my husband where we enjoyed a couple of lazy days. A walk through the fields to the pub and the rest of the time at the nook taking in the views from the hot tub. The milkshakes were delicious too!"

"Our hosts were great, fabulous directions and early communication. Lovely welcome pack with effort made to have things made specifically for the place. All the amenities you could want. Bed was very comfy with lovely linens. Such a really fabulous romantic sanctuary, hidden away in beds of snowdrops, but within easy reach of everything you need. Great log burner, which really warms the place, with all the original features of a characterful property. "
