Cedar Grove Lodge

Cedar Grove Lodge

8/10 Good
"The lodge is about 30 miles from the park entrance on mountain roads so much less crowded, quieter, ready to enjoy nature. The lodge is old and small but our room was clean and comfortable. Shower and air conditioning in working order with wifi, no TV. The lodge is next to the river, the grill is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and there is a market in the building. We enjoyed our visit."

"This hotel was a newer national park lodge and a welcome improvement over some others we have stayed in. Room was spacious, large bathroom vanity, key cards (not physical keys). All the comforts you expect in a modern hotel. Restaurant on site was also very good and we thought reasonably priced given how remote it is. We will absolutely stay here again."

"We absolutely love this place! We will definitely be coming back on our next vacation out West. Our host Heather was so kind and made us feel truly welcomed from the moment we arrived. We can’t say enough about how beautiful, peaceful and quiet this place is. Watching the wildlife and taking in the scenery was unforgettable experience. The reviews we read beforehand were completely accurate. Everything was exactly as described Our cabin looked just like the photos on the website, it was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had a very cozy unique feel. The bed was comfortable and the cabin had all the comfort of home. We honestly didn’t want to leave! Thank you, Sequoia Resort, for your wonderful hospitality and warm, friendly atmosphere. We can’t wait to return."

"🌲✨ A Healing Glamping Record from Last Week At first, I wondered if it was a bit too deep in the countryside, but as soon as the gate opened, the staff was already there waiting to welcome us, starting the trip with a wonderful touch of warmth! The kind hospitality we felt throughout our stay still leaves a heartwarming memory. Rather than the typical cozy vibe, it was a truly unique and exotic experience for me—staying in a massive tent like the ones Mongolian nomads use, furnished with two queen-sized beds. What also impressed me was that despite staying in an outdoor tent, both the electricity and Wi-Fi worked flawlessly. On top of that, the rescued animals at the site were incredibly friendly, which made this trip even more special and memorable. Even though it was just a short one-night stay, I was able to fully unwind and relax in such a spacious and extraordinary environment. Totally recharged! I will definitely visit again soon 🤍"
