"Check in was smooth and easy. Front desk was welcoming and polite and very helpful. We were greeted immediately and with a smile. Room was clean and housekeeping was very nice, helpful, and polite. Although the bedroom tv did not turn on. When we reported it to front desk who made the process easy the situation was not fixed. Bartender was not welcoming. He made a tasteless inappropriate joke to myself and my husband. Which made it uncomfortable that my husband and me tipped and took our drinks to the room. We went to the pool which is a good size. But it was a little dirty with a ring around it. Breakfast was good. The staff were amazing. Met a lady who worked there by the name of Marie G. Who was very friendly and welcoming to my family. She was very warming and polite. She also remembered us the next day which is always warming. Overall staff is amazing besides the bartender . you will definitely feel welcomed."

"The hotel was not very clean overall. The beds are old and uncomfortable, leaving us in pain. When checking the mattress for bugs (no, I didn't find any), I was disappointed with how stained the mattresses were. The sofa in the room was filthy, as was the elevator (see photos). There was no working vent or window in the bathroom. The AC turns itself off in the middle of the night, making the room very still and too warm. The restaurant was supposed to be open until 11:00 a.m. At 10:15 a.m., it was closed. We only wanted coffee but were told they "closed early." No reason given. We were not told upon reservation there would be a large fee per night to park. Update: had to call and get the receipt mailed to me, even though it was promised at checkout. Staff who answered was extremely rude and annoyed with the simple request. The itemized bill showed tax on the parking plus a previously not disclosed credit card fee. Interesting because I was told cash wasn't even an option for payment (usually it isn't at hotels so I was not surprised). How can you charge someone extra to pay the only way you allow payments???? Will not return to or recommend this hotel. Our total bill was significantly more than when booked. And no, we used zero amenities. "

"The property surroundings are beautiful. The hotel at the lobby very nice. The rooms and furniture need to be updated. Furniture looks worn out. Bathroom looks old. Needs to be redone. Staff were very nice. Receptionist at the front desk all were very cordial and helpful. The breakfast buffet was not great. Items were greasy. For the price it was not worth it. Location was great and the distance to the METRO was extremely convenient."

"Reservation was for two queens — they only had King available. No one contacted us prior even though they indicated it was a known room issue. Very frustrating. Nothing was done to rectify the problem."
