"The property had its sign painted black so you couldn't tell the name of the hotel. Could not see anything identifying it as a Motel 6. The street number was on the building, but no name. There was a handwritten cardboard sign taped to the outer wall that said "Pick up you animals Poop" in marker. The hotel clerk was sitting on a bench oustside and greeted us with a shout that the hotel was booked up. I said I had a reservation.
