"Hotel Indigo is in a great location in the lower east side. Youve got great eats, bars, and thift/shops on all the blocks surrounding the place. Mr.Purple is a cool rooftop bar they have, but they only play electronic music - didnt care for their elevator attendants during the bars peak hours as they were a little rude, but what can you do."

"Took my 17yr old daughter for out last adolescent spring break trip. She loved the hotel. It’s NYC so we didn’t expect a huge room. Yet ours was perfect and intimate. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Very accommodating and professional. I would just say the communication on the location of all amenities wasn’t very clear. It was like a scavenger hunt. One restaurant turned into two hosting dinner and brunch. "

"We liked the location, for one night stay is fine, if you plan to stay more than one day you need a bigger room, otherwise the staff was friendly, room was clean and the place was quiet"

"The room was clean. Staff friendly and helpful. There are shops and restaurants nearby. The bed was not as advertised. We were promised a queen or two twin beds. We got a small full size mattress. The property is very dated. No couch, just a futon which was so low to the ground it was very difficult to get up from. The phones in the room didn’t work so thankfully we didn’t have an emergency. There was one small tv in the living area that didn’t work. The staff came up and finally got a few channels on it. No TV in the bedroom. There was a window a/c unit in the bedroom and a portable a/c in the living area. They worked but their remotes didn’t always work. It was easy to get an Uber or Lyft. The next time I’m in NYC I will spend a little more if needed to get a nicer hotel with more amenities."
