"Rooms are basic but hotel is family friendly and lots to do with the kids on site. The pool being closed for several hours in the afternoon on sat and sun isn’t ideal though. Breakfast was great and bar food fair enough. It wasn’t clear that it was only bbq food in the woodshed on Fridays "

"We had a fantastic stay at Suidhe Garden Cottage and would happily return. Travelling with a 4 and 6 year old, it suited us perfectly, plenty of space, comfortable, and a great base for a family break. The location is ideal for getting outdoors. There are lovely walks right on the doorstep, and it’s an easy drive to local highlights like Landmark and Rothiemurchus, which kept the kids entertained and made day trips really straightforward. The cottage itself was clean, cosy, and well set up for a relaxing stay. It felt private and peaceful, which we really appreciated after busy days out. A couple of small improvements would make it even better: a curtain or blind in the king bedroom for the triangular window would help block out the early morning light, and a bit more cutlery would be useful, especially for families. Overall, a brilliant stay in a great location, highly recommended for families looking to explore the area."

"The lodge is in a perfect location with so much nearby! The pub, loch insh, walks, but the house itself makes you want to stay home. The hot tub is great, the house is really well set up, and we just had such a fun weekend. My friends loved it and a few want to come back with family. Would highly recommend xx"

"Although Tony (the owner/manager) was very nice, there was a problem with the drainage in the en-suite so that we needed to use shared bathroom facilities and the rooms/bathrooms weren't cleaned before use. There is an expectation that guests muck in with the cleaning, which is not explained on booking the accommodation."

"This cottage was adorable and roomy. I loved the locations as there's a pub, cafe and general store all located within walking distance as well as nice walking trails. The owners were communicative and helpful. I would return here if given the chance!"

"Had an absolutely amazing stay at The Neuk. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Was great fun having the hot tub and ping pong table and amazing having the hot tub on and ready for our arrival! The beds were extremely comfortable and we had everything we needed, was a great spacious house. The dealings with the company and owners was also very helpful, providing a speedy response to any queries had and being very accommodating. Overall a fantastic stay had at this wonderful property!"

"The cottage itself is lovely, and perfect for our family of 3 plus dog. Lovely garden to sit out in, and kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. Very close to the railway line, which didn’t bother us. Awesome views from the front of the property. The property is operated by Interhome, which lead to the only downsides to our stay - having to pay in Euros and all the confirmation emails being in German."

"Cottage had everything you could possibly need and was very clean. Lots of hot water for showers and baths and the Arga kept whole cottage warm Difficult to find, need better signage on road side"
