Although rooms dated, bathrooms clean and updated. Food was great, dinner portions and choices good and breakfast was good. Always welcomed by the staff. Stayed here twice now while travelling south.

Nice place to stay. Staff were very efficient at delivering food in the dinning room. There was zero waiting time. Amazing. Room was very spacious and well appointed. Only down side was tge shower was scalding hot, I couldn't find a happy medium and didn't want a burnt head so left washing my hair. Room was abit too warm for me. Apart from that lovely.

Excellent ensuite room, very spacious and well-equipped. Also very clean and very quiet. Plenty of parking. A short walk to the town centre so very convenient for local attractions and amenities.

Very nice place to stay. Tasty cooked breakfast + cereal bar available. Good level of cleanliness. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Newtonmore overall is a charming place to stay, with the wildcat trail and cat statues. Best if you come with your own car though if aiming to go around as the public transport from Newtonmore is understandably a little sparse!

Really clean hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Lost my phone and everyone went above and beyond to help in the dining room and reception. Nice touches like 4 cups in the family room with enough milk sachets etc for everyone. Lovely location. Very good breakfast.

The highlander is our go to stopping point when we’re heading to Glencoe. We usually have our small dog with us and it’s great that it’s dog friendly. We’ve stayed 3/4 times now and would definitely stay again. It’s clean and the foods good.

I liked the location where we could walk to a store. The breakfast was delicious! The waiters were great. Some of the front desk staff could have been friendlier and more talkative. The upstairs room was clean but noisy enough at about 4am to keep me awake. (It sounded like furniture was being moved around.) I mentioned this to the staff, but they seemed unconcerned. I loved the wandering ducks! They were so cute. I was sorry I didn't have any bread to give them! :)

I was a bit apprehensive bringing a group here due to previous reviews and I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised the rooms were a good size , bathrooms seemed almost brand-new, tea coffee facilities, hairdryer, bathroom amenities etc all as you would expect. nice big parking areas, bar was great staff were great and the breakfast was also a decent offering for the Price. If anyone else thinks differently I would happily give them some names of properties nearby which this hotel is twice as good as.

The room was clean, comfy bed and good shower. The place in general looked a bit run down. The cooked breakfast was terrible with fatty bacon and sausages with hard skins. The continental breakfast lacked in variety. The staff were very attentive.
