"We really enjoyed our stay. The facility is older but well maintained, the staff was friendly and the view from our room was amazing.
Word of warning for westerners. This hotel is NOT TATTOO FRIENDLY. Mine are all covered when it’s cold so it didn’t matter for this trip, but in the summer I wouldn’t be allowed to use the pool. "

"This place is fantastic. It's tucked a good ten or so minute walk from any tourist area so it's nice and quiet. It's very cozy and relaxing. It comes fully stocked with kitchen items. Plates, pans ect... if you plan to stay longer. It's got two conbeni and one grocery store with in two minute walk as well. The only negative is that it's a 20 or so minute walk to the beach and closest station. "

"This was one of my favorite hostel experiences ever. Makoto, Ana, and Karen are the nicest staff ever, we extended out stay multiple days because we met other amazing people staying at this hostel and became very familiar with Kamakura. Kamakura should be a multi-day trip and you should definitely stay at Iza Kamakura House if you want a really comfortable and laid back place to stay. "
