We had a fantastic 3 days. Staff were friendly and fantastic. The pub area was awesome. The only thing was the smoke from the outside area wafted through the whole area and you couldn't get away from it. There were smoking areas on both ends of the pub. Maybe it should be only the western side. Why is it that smokers get the best areas. ???

We recently stayed for three nights in a refurbished Horizon Room at the Shangri-La Sydney and were thoroughly impressed from start to finish. The room was spotless, modern, and incredibly well equipped, nothing was overlooked. The property is in a convenient location. It was excellent to be able to eat at the hotel and not have to go out to eat.
The staff were very good and the view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge from the dining room is amazing.

I have to say we have travelled to many places over the years and this is the nicest hotel room we have ever had.
It appeared to have everything you could need and comfort as well. The staff were lovely, shout out to Kevin who assisted me with a payment issue. This Hotel Is attached to the Star, with light rail underneath and is also only a short walk to Pyrmont Bay ferry. I definitely intend to stay here again :)
