"Great location for the rate. We came during the weekend of the Thunder airshow and the fireworks could be seen from hotel. The bartender was so hilarious and made great drinks."

"Convenient location. Plenty of food options in the hotel plus a very cool speakeasy with an old fashion bowling alley. Room was quiet. We had a one bedroom suite on the fourth floor. But was disappointed there was not a pretty view for the price."

"Yes, the property was excellent after a little bump in the road. Evidently the cleaning staff forgot to clean the first room we were given. There were dirty towels and an open bottle of water in the bathroom. However the bed was made up. Oh, and the phone was not working. No dial tone, so it was impossible to contact the front desk for service. I went downstairs to the front desk and the clerk so graciously gave us a different room that was cleaned. The rest of our stay was very satisfactory. Great breakfast and parking was great. "

"The staff and check in was great! It’s an older building so it could stand some more updating. But all things considered it a great place. Perfect for Thunder of Louisville!! Sadly through no fault of Galt house the surrounding area has declined quite a bit. Luckily there are nice restaurants, bars, and entertainment on property. We will definitely go back!"

"Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff was absolutely excellent, very helpful. We got a room with a city view, and it was beautiful. We were there on a VERY busy weekend, so some restaurant item menus were unavailable or sold out, limiting dinner options, but the food from the Porch was very good, and we would absolutely stay there again. One thing to note that wouldn’t hinder a repeat stay is that while there is a pool, there is no hot tub, which would have been something I would have enjoyed. Not often you enter a pool area without a spa, but it is a small pool area, maybe they had no room for it. It was a lovely stay; very comfortable beds/accommodations."

"The rooms were spacious and clean. Housekeeping did an amazing job keeping us stocked with towels. We were traveling with a volleyball club so the complimentary breakfast was a huge convenience and help with getting our girls fuel in the morning before heading to the tournament. The breakfast had plenty of options. There was an omelette bar, fruit salad, oatmeal, pancakes, waffles, sausage,etc. The hotel offers many spaces for groups to gather and hang out. We stayed on the fourth floor which has a really cute indoor green space with seating and some of our girls used it for studying and hanging out. There other gathering areas in the hotel that some of our parents used to play games with one another. The location was convenient for walking to a couple of restaurants in the area. There is a CVS that is connected to the hotel which was also convenient for us to get cases of water for the girls. It was a very comfortable stay and we enjoyed our time.☺️"
