Loved this boutique style hotel in the heart of whiskey alley! Modern, bright, fun is the vibe! The rooms are small but so adorable and bed was super comfy. The only bit of downside is that there is coffee only in the lobby. The other bummer was the outside terrace was not open, booooo. Overall, great stay for sure!

This place is great if you’re in town for a downtown event or an overnight visit. We were there for a concert at the Yum Center and it was perfect. Took us 5 minutes to walk there and the bar and restaurant were still open well after the concert, which a lot of the other places around there weren’t. The room was a little small, but since it was just me and the wife that wasn’t an issue. The only issue I had was that there was only one light switch to control all the lights, so the one in the shower had to be in if I wanted the one by the bed to work. Would definitely stay there again if I needed a downtown hotel.

Absolutely fantastic service. They were friendly and went above and beyond. And the location was excellent. Whiskey row is fun and this hotel was right on it. There is a good restaurant and bar right in the lobby. But the rooms were very small and had an odd layout with the bathroom area separated from the beds by only a curtain. I don't think the rooms would be comfortable for anything more than a solo traveler or a very close couple. Also, if you don't use valet, which was expensive, parking was almost two blocks away But that is not the fault of the excellent staff. The service was fantastic.

We had an exceptional weekend at the Moxy in downtown Louisville. The room was clean, the staff was excellent and the hotel has a fun vibe even for older couples. We will be staying here again when we visit Louisville.

The rooms are a bit quirky and unique but clean and tidy and the shower was excellent and bed comfy. It is a tad basic especially if you have work to do, no power points near the fold down desk etc. I also found the room quite noisy with trucks and cars and building work in the early morning (5am) however the staff are excellent and I enjoyed the bar area with some tacos, maybe a wider variety of food would be good also but there are lots of bars /restaurants nearby.
