Very very basic hotel. 10 min walk to train. S8 or S 9 will take you to town or airport. 2 stops to airport. If you Left window open, noisy with planes landing Nothing near by except a pub,10 min walk and restaurant in hotel.

Good location and friendly staff. Clean. Safe. 5 minute walk from train. My only wish would have been an ice machine or some kind of filtered water. And it was very warm. 67° outside and the heat was blasting everywhere. I must say I found this throughout much of Germany. So maybe Germans just run cold. I lucked out and had windows that opened in my room to help regulate or I would have died lol. With these big windows wide open all day every day it kept it regulated. But I had to suffer second hand smoke coming in my room all night every night. But I slept with the blankets over my head and that helped. But my sinuses act up instantly with second hand smoke so it set me up for a headache and burny nose all day every day. Perhaps a smoking area away from the building so the nonsmokers don't have to suffer. Or settle down with the heat so the windows don't need to be open ino order not to dehydrate severely in your sleep.

It’s hidden. It vary near the airport, rooms are bigger than many hotels I have stayed and the shower had much more space than others

I booked this hotel at the last minute & didn't know what to expect, just needed a room for a few nights as I was travelling on business. I was very pleasantly surprised. It's a lovely hotel, not exactly minimal but with very clean, simple design. My German is terrible but the people on reception spoke excellent English & were very happy to help. The room was spotless, sheets crisp and fresh and the shower stayed the same temperature and had good flow, which is a big plus for me. It was a very comfortable stay. I loved the location - it's next to a huge area of forest with miles of gravel trails, there's an amazing swimming pool complex about 15 minutes' walk away and it's probably about 10-15 minutes' walk from the Stadion station as the hotel is right next to Eintracht Frankfurt's football stadium, though separated by another slice of forest. The hotel has a sporting theme; it's frequented by athletes visiting the stadium and the UEFA 2024 football training academy and offices (from what I could tell - I'm not big on football). There's a small gym in the basement with mainly body-weight equipment like wall ladder, hanging straps, bosu balls etc. There are bikes you can borrow free of charge, so although it's only two train stops from central Frankfurt I cycled in and out of the city every day. I was slightly concerned as it's in the flight path of the airport but the double glazing is excellent and the room was very quiet - and well air conditioned in a very hot week!

The fitness facility was in poor condition. They had a single rowing machine that broke after the fourth time I pulled on the 'oars'. But, the hotel staff were absolutely wonderful. I mean, just exceptionally kind and good people. I cannot say enough good things about the staff.

Dear guest, thank you very much for your honest words. we are very sorry that you found our sports area unsatisfactory. Unfortunately, we are not able to place any other equipment such as a bicycle or treadmill due to lack of space. Our hotel is located directly at a forest and you as our guests have the possibility to go jogging. We have very nice running paths, which are also marked on a small map. We also offer a free bike rental. Due to a cooperation with the Landessportbund Hessen you also have the possibility to go swimming from Monday to Friday outside school holidays for only 2 euro from 07:00 to 09:00. We hope to welcome you again in our house and maybe you will try one of our free services. Kind regrads

Comfortable room near s-Bahn.

Great modern hotel in the woods near the airport!
We've stayed here several times and love it even though we ourselves are not "sporty." It's a great facility in the middle of a wooded area very near (8 minutes) the Frankfurt airport with a great restaurant. We always spend the night before leaving here because it's easy to RELAX before a long flight home. Great bar, great restaurant, great common areas, lots of green space with a courtyard, and lots of trails for hikes in the woods even though it's in an urban area.

Hotel is good if you need to be at the stadium a lot. I do wish that the gym themed hotel would have a decent gym - what it has is very very basic room with few props. They have to work on the level of cleaning as one of the days I found empty packet after pills in the bathroom - and it wasn't mine.

Location, location.
The hotel was great for proximity to the arena. We went to the Beyoncé concert, and it was a few minutes walk to the Commrzbank Arena. While people were stuck in traffic for hours after the concert, we were back in our room relaxing. The breakfast was also tasty and a good variety.

One transit night :)
We did a transit stop, from the FRA airport each way taxi fare €25, only place to eat it's the hotel restaurant, not to many options but a nice quality €20-30, if you want to go to the city, it's a metro station close by 5-10min walking. You can subscribe for free to their loyalty program and you get free internet.

Conveniently located near Commerzbank Arena
The Linder is a very nice hotel. Both the building and the room were immaculate. The hotel is situated directly across the street from the Commerzbank Arena. Parking is not included in the price of the room, but the garage is conveniently located next door to the hotel.

Excellent Stay!
Was in Frankfurt to work with a doctor, and the hotel was next door to his practice. Great breakfast, excellent service. Bathroom was perfectly clean, with excellent appointments. Bed was just right, with excellent pillows.

First, I would like to state that I stay at hotels about 10 nights a month. This hotel was a disappointment. The rating was high so I have booked it. When I got to the hotel I learned that it is not as advertised. First they only have single beds. I booked a double bed, and when I asked to change the room they told me that they don't have this option but they can connect 2 beds together (right!!!). Second Wi-Fi charge was crazy and breakfast was OK but not worth 20 euros. When considering that there is nothing (!!!!) around. Not even a kiosk to buy coffee. Parking was 10euros a day so in total I found myself paying more than 40euros a day more. Will not recommend or stay there again.

Apart from the matters rated above . our only criticism relates to highly misleading information , on the web site and on the confirmation booking , that a free airport shuttle service would be provided . It should have been made clear that this service was ONLY ONE WAY .

The Lindner Hotel in Frankfurt is a beautiful, very clean hotel in a park-like setting. It was a little hard to find in the dark (needs better signage) and I was only there overnight but will return to use the spa and other activities. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious and well prepared. The staff spoke workable English and were friendly and helpful, esp. in the restaurant. The hotel does have a paid parking garage next door. My only complaint was the size of the bed, I had a room with two twin beds that were so small I didn't sleep well. I would stay here again and recommend it but be sure to ask for at least a double bed.

Airport Shuttle Only If Booked 3 Days Before
I am very pleased with my stay at this hotel. The description of the hotel amenities include FREE AIRPORT SHUTTLE but that is quite misleading because when you arrive in Frankfurt, and you ask at the Airport where to pick up the hotel shuttle bus/van there is no pick up for The Lindner Hotel. My American cell phone does not work in Europe, and I do not speak German, so it took a while to get through to the hotel desk and find a way to get to the hotel. A cab ride would have cost me about $20 - quite a bit more than FREE. So I ended up taking the train. It was only one stop away from the main airport in Frankfurt, and it only set me back a couple of Euros. The hotel was a short walk from the train station, but in the evening, it was quite dark. Upon arrival, the staff made everything they could to make up for the mix-up on the shuttle, and explained to me that they do offer a free shuttle service to the airport, but it needs to be arranged with at least 3 days' notice. This was not made clear to me when I booked the room - so it was certainly inconvenient when I arrived at the airport and it took an hour to find a way to get to the hotel. All in all, it was a very good experience. The room was clean and quiet, and the staff was very professional. I would recommend it. (Just make sure you book the shuttle 3 days before you plan to arrive).

Surprisingly Good
Going into this reservation, I was anxious about how the "sports academy" part of the hotel would translate into my one night stay. It was magnificent! The rooms are really more like dorms (for athletes), I suppose. Each room can sleep two with a spacious floorplan and bathroom, each somewhat separated for privacy. The windows open, but have electronic, metal shutters that you can roll up / down and / or open / close for privacy (whilst still enjoying fresh air). Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Would highly recommend it and definitely stay here again, next time I'm in Frankfurt.

A clean relaxing place to stay
From the moment we arrived we felt taken care of. The room and hotel was modern, fresh and clean. We would have liked tea/coffee making in our room, but you can get it from the resturant. The train station is about a 10 min walk away through the lovely surrounding woods and then it is only two stops into Frankfurt main. It is about 20-22 Euros from the airport in a taxi. The receptionist was only too happy to help with directions and other bookings. For us the dinner in the resturant was a real highlight, after a tiring day at the Christmas markets, the atmosphere was relaxed, food surperb and the friendly waitressess we had provided the best quality service.The breakfast was an amazing selection of choices, our only hitch was by 9.30am when we came down for breakfast things under the warming light were very dry. We were pleasently surprised at this hotel during our 2 night stay.

Very impressed
I stayed at the hotel with my friends and was very satisfied. We liked its modern rooms and fantastic chief. The food in the restaurant was superb. Only disadvantage is no free Internet and parking provided and there is construction works going on in surrounding area, though it is located in the very big park and only 10 minutes drive to the city centre.
