"Clean and quiet room. Comfortable bed and shower. Hot water almost instantly. Good options for breakfast. Friendly staff. Would stay again! The staff arranged for us to move rooms since our neighbors were smoking, and the new room was toward the back of the property and more quiet. "

Which led me down the rabbit who of who he was, instrumental force behind making the Golden Gate Bridge happen, worth reading up on. The hotel is a beautifully preserved piece of history, and it’s not gutted an modernized like so "

"Rooms were great! Great amenities on the property. The steam room and sauna were amazing but the jacuzzi was a bit outdated looking. It took away from how nice everything else was. It just looked out of place. They do offer a starbucks coffee machine in the lobby and 2 hr bike rental that was absolutely incredible, all for free. I will definitely be back. Thank You for an awesome stay. "

"Great staff. We really enjoyed the mineral spas. Mud baths were affordable and the attendant was attentive, but not intrusive. We enjoyed our room and appreciated having a fridge and a microwave. We also liked the coffee bar in the morning. "
