"The property was so very beautiful. We got to use the pool for 2days and the garden and house game activities are brilliant to keep the children and adults amused. Plenty of utensils and crockery are available and we all (10 ) got to share meals together around the large dining table. Lovely local pub which is walkable from the house and we found the butterfly farm amazing. Nobody wanted to leave and we all wished that it could be our own home. "

"This is an aged property but they have done a great job keeping it clean. The bathrooms are remodeled with very good water pressure, sufficient space. Room is spacious for 2 of us with beautiful river view in Room 7. Daily cook to order breakfast is included in the room is a plus. The food here is delicious from breakfast to dinner. We had Easter Sunday lunch here unfortunately this wasn’t as good as the regular dinner. I assume it’s because of the large quantity of food the kitchen has to cook for the crowds. The location of the hotel is unbeatable. All hike trails are walkable from the hotel. Truly enjoyed our 2 nights stay. The staffs are very welcoming and friendly. Will definitely come back in the fall to see foliage in the area. "

"Tilly, my dog, was made very welcome with teeats left for her on our arrival. A dog bowl.and bed was also.offered for us to use for Tilly. There was a lovely woodland walk bext to the property and Tilly loved it there."

"Loved the position on edge of Wye.valley and Forest of Dean with a great pub. Perhaps the cottage wasn’t the higher end property we thought it was from the marketing and which I think we paid for. I should have noticed there was no dishwasher but we booked fairly late in the day and rushed things. We appreciated the thoughtful instructions on reaching the property and welcome goodies and access to a pool and tennis courts must be great in summer."
