"This home was excellent for our large multigenerational family. The number of bedrooms and baths provided privacy and convenience. The large common areas, kids play area and media rooms were very functional for a large group. Access to the beach was excellent and we really enjoyed the large porch - especially in the evenings! There are some items that need attention in such a nice property. First, cleanliness. The porch was messy upon arrival. Chairs scattered around, piles of sand and broken shells and the hoses stretched across the entry area. Not a great first impression. Inside there were cobwebs, dead and alive bugs. The fridge had a fishy odor and residue - ugh. Second - The kitchen was not fully equipped for a house that sleeps up to 39 people - only 8 plates and less cups and saucers. Not one dish towel. We are a family that likes to gather and cook and additionally chose this house for the large kitchen. It was frustrating to arrive and then have to leave and acquire kitchen basics. Lastly - there was a gator immediately adjacent to the property. I am a gulf coast native and realize that this is can be the natural habitat of gators - but it seems there should be warning signs or fencing around the property. I messaged the host - but did not receive a reply. All in all we had a successful family weekend - but a property with such potential should and could be better with some attention."

"Host was great communication, house was clean well stocked with pots pans, trash bags, zip lock bags etc. Beach view was wonderful. Hated no immediate beach access from House. But could drive short distance to access beach. Water at house was a little smelly. I think filter was off. Also I'm not use to water near the ocean. Could of been a me thing. We had plenty of room."

"We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary with the kids & grandkids & we all had a terrific time. The house had enough space for everyone. The beds were very comfortable. The AC was cold! The kitchen was large enough for all of us & laid out well enough for just one of us. We were on the beach much of the time, the weather was perfect. Porches, porch furniture & steps were all very sturdy. Jerry the owner was very responsive, whenever we reached out to him. Plenty of parking. We hope we get to do it again sometime!"

"We enjoyed our stay. The house was nice and as described. Our only concern was the lack of supplies needed for the trip. Such as, there was only 1 trash bag and the dishes soap was almost empty . The dishes that were put away were still dirty so I had to hand wash everything before I used it. The inside of the house had a stagnant urine smell that was pretty strong."
