Cleanliness and easily accessed by rental car. However, I did a search of airport hotels and this one came up so I booked it given that it was a Hilton but there was no airport shuttle even though it is less than 3 miles from the airport.

Great hotel if you get in on a late flight to Florence airport (about a 5 minute drive from the car rental place). Comfortable bed, large shower, and good amenities (gym, pool, buffet breakfast, free parking). Staff are also very helpful and speak English. It is not close to town but there is a shuttle (we did not take it). Only downside is that the rooms are quite dated and a bit cramped.

Bathtub was dirty, water was nearly unusable. Shower would cycle from blistering hot to freezing cold every 20 seconds.

Very good overall. A little far from the city center but the shuttle bus for 5 EU was good.

Loved the shuttle but no one even communicated this to us; stumbled upon it. The room was, in general, okay. One day they didn’t clean and we had to be moved after a long day to another room. The ladies restrooms near the ironing room had no door. Poor selection for breakfast. I’ll be back to Italy for sure but, I’ll pass on this hotel.

Good hotel. Must have been beautiful in its day! Great A/C especially when it was so hot! 20 minute ride into old Florence. Not a great area but relatively close to the airport. Services a lot of airline crew.

Typical Hilton experience. Friendly Staff, Cleanliness, fast check in and out, free parking and Internet. Little bit outside of the historical citycenter, but no problem with the complimentary shuttle. You save time and money and all the bad circumstances such as lack of parking in the city. The large whirlpool ist the highlight. Very good breakfast.

Great hotel near FLR

The property is very nice and the service is extremely helpful. We had an early flight and they helped arrange a taxi. Room is clean and well air conditioned. The one strange aspect of the room is the bathroom has a large glass door. No privacy. But overall, definitely recommend this hotel.
