"It’s always tricky looking for family rooms for older children, it was fantastic to have a separate room for the two kids. The rooms are stylish and spotlessly clean.10 minute stroll into Chester centre along the canal. The hotel has a lovely friendly vibe with a great lobby/bar area with games and another upstairs with a pool table and a few arcade games. The staff were super friendly and inviting. We would definitely stay again! Thank you!!!"

"Lovely hotel, fabulous pool. Easy to find, and a short walk along the canal to the centre. Large room on the 5th floor with a comfy bed. Let down by the small bathroom, tiny shower, and an extractor fan which never switched off. Nice to have on site parking. Breakfast let down by undercooked bacon and sausages but extra brownie points for ready cooked toast👍. No bottle neck queues at the toasters!"

"A beautiful hotel very central location near the Cathedral our room was in the cottage which was beautifully decorated. Breakfast is extra £15 pp we declined as there are so many nice little cafes and coffee shops near by. The bed mattress was too hard which I know is a personal choice. Would definitely return. "
