The hotel has been reburbished beautifully. Staff have been amazing letting us hang out in the lounge waiting for our train departure. Great location, fantastic cafe next door, great bars in the area. Only a short walk to Michigan Avenue for hop on hop off bus.

We had a great stay at House 5863. The room was lovely and quiet, breakfast was great, parking was easy on the street, and check in was punctual. We couldn't have asked for any more and the price was good for a big city stay. we only wish we had stayed longer.

Don't be deceived by outward appearances. This is an 'old school' motel but it is very clean and comfortable, and staff are helpful. Would stay agai.n

Staffs were very nice and helpful, not sure why other people are giving bad reviews for this property. My room was serviced daily. Overall, a good stay

Everything is great but the room door is not sealed properly so noises from hallway can be heard from the room.
