"Staff was friendly and room was clean. Only wish the things they offered had better hours. Their Bistro and Room Service are only open for a couple hours. As for the spa as I canceled my appt. The website says their open till 6pm and 8pm depending on the day trying to book the time slots were awful if you want to do more than 1 item be prepared for them to be spaced a couple hours apart. There was nothing with just 1 block to do all the services, and even booking in advance there were no times after 2pm."

"Great coffee---actual roasted beans in the machine, and good scrambled eggs. Parking is easy and the location is great: close to I49, the UofA, and a Walmart is within walking distance. Room smelled fresh, like walking into a Dillard's Dept. Store. Room was very clean, as was the bathroom. Could not hear any noise from the hall or people next door. Unfortunately, the fire alarm went off twice this morning, at 5:40 and 6:40."

"Patricia is the most thoughtful host. She goes above and beyond with communication and you can tell she has a lot of love for the history of the house and the work that has been put in to restoring and preserving this gem of local history. I absolutely LOVED the house, loved reading the history of the house. My family has lived in the area for many, many generations so it helped me feel even more connected with my own family history. A few things to note that may be helpful for future travelers. By NO MEANS are these negatives, but just things some folks might like to know of. 1) this is an old home, with old home character and charm. The floors are a bit uneven in some places, which might be a challenge for someone with mobility issues. Personally, I loved the hardwood floors, I loved sitting in the living room and letting my imagination take me back to what it might have been like all those years ago when the original owners were building and making names for themselves. 2) the yard is not fenced, however, there are plenty of trees you can run a tie out from one tree to another if you don’t want to leash walk your dog. My old Great Dane never wanders away so this was not an issue for me and it afforded us the opportunity to see a buck in the backyard early one morning. The pool and the AC were WONDERFUL to cool off in the hot July/August heat. Hands down I will stay here again whenever I’m in the area, if it’s available!"
