This is a beautiful, proper country house - very spacious room, lovely breakfast. It is very quiet here. The log fire was amazing and it was great to spend a quiet evening here away from it all! "Amazing lodge, immaculate, cosy, comfy beds, well stocked with everything you need, stunning views and well cared for. It had a Smart TV so you could watch Netflix etc which is what we love. It was only 10-15 min drive to Keswick. One of the nicest lodges we have stayed in and really would recommend it. The lodge is in one of the best plots right opposite the lake. We loved the view in a morning having coffee overlooking the lake, a very impressive lodge. The host was very responsive and helpful at all times. We will definitely be returning. "
