We will keep in mind your feedback regarding the socket near a mirror for future improvements. Our studios have a full length mirror that usually has a socket nearby but I understand this is not the ideal setting to do your hair. It's really great to see that the team looked after you during your stay, and I was pleased that I got the opportunity to meet with you myself.As you said, we've got a great location in the heart of the city, which can bring a bit of noise with it along side some of Edinburgh's wildlife. I am sorry if this disturbed your stay. Hi Alex, thanks for sharing your feedback with us. As already discussed elsewhere, our reception is staffed 24h - on occasions, our House Hosts will need to leave the desk to carry out security walks or to assist our guests. However, when this happens, a sign is displayed at reception with a phone number that our guests can call - our House Hosts always carry with them the phone to which this number is linked so that they can be back at reception as soon as possible to help you check in. Thanks for your understanding regarding the hot water issue - this was due to a general failure that affected the whole building, but thankfully our maintenance manager was able to fix the problem in less than an hour.
