Welcome to my home. I have listed it on Airbnb to make it your very own escape during your stay in Edinburgh. Comfortable and spacious 5 bedrooms apartment just off Edinburgh’s historic Royal Mile. The property has three double and two single bedrooms and comes with free high speed Wifi, double glazing and full gas central heating. The apartment is just a 1 minute walk to all Edinburgh attractions. Not only that it is a little 5 minute walk to the castle and train station!

Location

The location is ideal. Our biggest issue was the shower temperature could not be regulated. The other shower did not operate properly as well. One more bathroom would have bee nice

Not as we imagined from advertised write up.

Unfortunately, this accomodation is on the 3rd floor of the building, with the only access by 3 flights of winding stairs, not conducive to 6 elderly gentleman of 70 plus years old!! 2 of them with walking aids. The public area was dark and dingy with cobwebs hanging off the stair rails. Once inside the apartment it was clean and tidy and well presented. Unfortunately, the fan in the bathroom did not work, and no plug for the sink, so shaving was under running water! The shower was in the bath which was a problem for 2 of the oarty at least. There was a stand alone shower in one of the bedrooms, but ufortunately the light over the shower did not work, the tiles were coloured black and when the shower curtain was closed you could not see a thing!! even with the bedroom light on, and you couldn't leave the curtain open! As we were only staying for 2 nights we put up with it. At the end of the day you get what you pay for!!.
