"Staff were all really lovely and helpful. Breakfast was really nice, with nothing lacking. The bed was nice and comfortable, on the firm side, which I like. The only negative was that the TV could have been a bit bigger"

"It was a nice room with a nice view of the beach, the only thing that let it down was the beds, very uncomfortable mattresses and the bathroom had a very strong sewage smell coming from the drains."

"It's a grand old building - and some of the public areas downstairs are nicely done, and look great. Big and spacious reception/foyer and bar area as well (Didn't use the restaurant). The room was a good size, and a decent price - but as wih many of these big, old properties, it's worn & tired. It was cleaned well, and plenty of space."

"Very pleasent stay. Just one night but room was very clean and comfortable. Receptionist was so helpful. No carpark attached to hotel but you can buy a permit for cheap at reception and receptionist helped to sort this. Good location, close to the pier. Walking distance to the center. Would definitely stay again."
