"Cool hotel. Great design. Better than other Lower Eastside hotels (Standard, Sixty LES) by a long shot for similar rates. Awesome public areas with people hanging out, chatting, laptopping, including a great outdoor garden space."

"The hotel was very nice and the staff were very professional. It felt luxurious and was clean. We also had a nice view of the city from our room. The only thing that was not that great is that the bathroom door was a frosted glass sliding door and would not stay shut on its own. "

"This was my 5th time in New York. Having stayed in various areas I'd say this area and hotel overall were my favourite. For such a busy time of year it was lovely to escape midtown and stay in a quieter less touristy area (even though I was the tourist). The hotel was lovely, great style, clean, nice staff and very quiet (rare for New York). We couldn't hear any other guests or noise from the outside (because we were in the quieter area).
