"A Fascinating and perhaps haunted hotel off the beaten track. You will drive through the beautiful mountains to get there and it’s located in the shadow of an ancient Abby. The staff is lovely, the food at the in-house restaurant is great. And definitely get a bottle of the house red (it’s amazing). You will not be sorry you made this journey. "

"Staff was very nice. Room was very nice. Rented two bikes had issue with gears changing and kickstand on one and chain falling off on the other. One bike lock was impossible to use key was not easy to get out and to put in. Mentioned when returning bike and got brushed off. Received phone call two days later asking if bike was returned when returned and spoke to the staff member in person "

We also needed guidance with transportation at the train station and staff provided all the useful tips which prepared us for our first train experience in Italy! "Everything was fabulous, we got upgraded to a suite with terrace overlooking the river and the hills. The staff were beyond helpful, very attentive to our messages. The shuttle service to downtown was excellent. This is the place to stay at when you want to enjoy Florence but stay away from the crowds. Will definitely come back! "
