I booked this as a solo traveller and, even if I felt welcomed and everything was smooth, it is an inconvenient location specially to arrive during the evening or night when it gets dark. The buffet breakfast and all the staff were great, but I wouldn't go back as a solo traveller just because of the convenience and safety to get there by myself.

It goes above and beyond for the expectations for a 2 star hotel. Also it has free parking , which in Florence is great. Breakfast was good and varied. The area is beautiful, calm and silent, we really slept well and our room was warm in a cold winter night. It’s basic but what do you expect from a 2 star place? It has some common area in the outside, which is ok for summer. But it need means of transport for Florence, so if you go out at night you’ll have to take a taxi (20 euros). This place is best enjoyed if you have a car and you are not planning on drinking out.

The location was extermely spectacular. The staff at the hotel were very helpful amd supportive, in addition to speaking English. As to the breakfast, was served daily and had met my expectations. I would definitely stay next time I visit.
