The immediate surroundings are dominated by the mall and the arena but it is a short train trip to downtown Stockholm so it was a very convenient location. "We stayed at Scandic Continental for 5 nights, arriving from the airport by train, giving us a 3 minute walk from Central Station...big plus point for ease of transfer.
On arrival, we could see straight away that this would be a great place to stay. Modern, clean and with great facilities, I can find no fault with this hotel.
Our room on floor 9 had a corner aspect, giving great views to the nearby church, across the city and to the harbour. The room was excellent, modern and with a clean elegant feel.
Possibly the highlight though was the included breakfast. Available on floors 1 and 3, it was an extensive buffet....hot items, cold meat and cheese, waffles, cereal, yoghurt, and much more. An excellent breakfast.
In summary, the Scandic Continental is highly recommended."
