"Everything was good, except for shower in room water pressure was rubbish. Staff really helpful. Amenities really good."

"It is a wonderful historic building, but very run down . Some parts, eg the listed ballroom is closed needing roof repairs. Threadbare carpets, although bedding and towels changed each day there was poor bathroom supplies. I believe it is for sale. So fingers crossed because it’s in a good position with a car park. No resturant, or bar snacks. There is an excellent Spanish tapas restaurant round the corner.m and Peaberry a few yards down the street great for breakfast. "

"Breakfast was good, if a little busy! The cutlery suffered the usual dishwasher smudges, but that's kind of expected these days. We didn't request a disabled room, but we were very impressed with the disabled facilities - the low level door spyglass, for instance. Total blockout curtains were welcome for a Sunday morning lie in. Reception/bar/restaurant staff were very pleasant, polite and attentive. "

"Hotel and rooms need a lot of TLC, water takes a while to heat up and when it does the pressure in the shower is awful. Pool wasnt bad but there were no spa appointments avaliable depsite having a membership. And the junior suite dosent look like the photos. Ended up makkng a complaint andnit was rectified but still not happy with my stay. Wasnt worth the money I paid. "

"Clean room although missing additional lighting as no main light. Staff were present not particularly friendly or engaging. Not restaurant and very limited bar and service Pets were allowed but that’s all. "
