Great location for BCLM

We were visiting the Black Country Living Museum, which is only 15mins walk away, so perfect location for that and reasonably priced, too. The negative was that the room had no AC so we had to keep the windows open and it being on a very busy road, it was extremely noisy at all times, even into the early hours, so we got very little sleep

Nice hotel, but we heard a lot of traffic (police and other cars) and as it was a double room we expected two chairs as I had to sit on the bed to have my breakfast. Other than that it had a clean room, nice staff and we enjoyed our stay. Thanks.

Nice place for the price.

We had no problems with cleanliness,a few additions would make a stay better,a little lamp, another chair if you want to eat at the table rather than the high stool in our room.Better flooring in the bathroom would improve things, possibly a fan for warmer temperatures.

Dirty windows and frames let the place down

Location suited our needs. Bed was comfortable with clean linen and towels. Shower worked. Kitchen was well equipped, however sink plug wouldn’t seal. Windows, frames and bathroom flooring edges looked like they hadn’t been cleaned for years.

Historic hotel by the castle

Spacious, clean and warm room, with integral kitchen. Comfy bed, plenty of plugs for charging etc.Tv and wi-fi worked fine. Currently no food, as restaurant being refurbished, but plenty of places nearby, and can also cook in bedroom.

The location is very convenient. The hotel isn’t luxurious, but it offers good quality for the price, with clean rooms and basic amenities that cover all the essentials. Generally, it’s a quiet place, though there’s occasional noise in the hallways when other guests arrive or depart, which might disturb light sleepers. Overall, it’s a practical, budget-friendly option with a great location.

Good value for money bar under refurbishment unfortunately would have preferred the interconnecting rooms but issue with the toilet but we were next to each other electric shower either really hot or cold room that slept 3 was a great size handy kitchenette fridge a definite bonus would stay again.

Poor but a work in progress

All staff were friendly when interacted with. The room we stayed in was very dated and cleanliness wasn't great (the bed was stained as was the mattress) There is a lot of noise from the road which was a little bothersome at times. There is modernisation works in place at the moment which I believe will improve the hotel slot

Lovely friendly staff. Generally the facilities are good with the exception of the work area. The desk is fixed to the wall which is fine but it's very poor quality, in 2 of the 3 rooms that I've stayed in the desk is cracked and ready to break. There is also a stool to sit on and again very poor quality and uncomfortable to sit on. I've stayed in single rooms and am satisfied with the rest of the facilities in the room. As a woman who travels alone for work, i feel incredibly safe there with the hotel having cctv in public areas and someone on site all the time. The bar area is very pleasant and welcoming. It will be my go to place, when in in the area, from now on.

Enjoy the hospitality of Station Hotel , Dudley.

I work here in Birmingham and I absolutely love this charming hotel. The staff are incredibly helpful and always have a smile on their faces. I've been staying at Station Hotel for the past 3 months and I'm thoroughly enjoying it, especially for the facilities where you can cook and do your laundry. It's a great way to save some money. Collecting rewards and bonuses is an added bonus. I would highly recommend this place for short or long stays.
