"I travel fairly frequently for both business and pleasure - so have stayed at the higher-end (Marriott, Hilton) to the lower-end (La Quinta, Holiday Inn, etc.) places. I picked this particular cheap/affordable hotel because of unexpected one-night trip to HCMC - and just wanted to be near to the airport. For the price, the Solex is a great value (clean & fairly good sized room). It is located in an area with tons of (local) food venues. Just a couple minor things: the backside of the hotel...

"The room was a very good size with a separate living area, kitchen and bedroom but it does not have a window. The location is too far from District 1 but is close to the airport. The mattress is very hard. There is daily room cleaning service which is great."

"Great overnight stay before heading to Cam Ranh. Airport shuttle to hotel from terminal 2 is great. If flying out of terminal 3 (or into it) there is no shuttle service. The pool is beautiful and staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. I would stay here again."
