Can highly recommend this guest house. Superb views from the en-suite room and breakfast room, comfy bed, clean and the host is excellent. Breakfast is cooked to order and fresh and all diets are catered for. There is plenty of parking on-site, places to eat in the local village and places within a short drive. Easy access to the coast road.
Absolutely wonderful stay! The breakfast was delicious, the room was very comfortable and even had a lovely bath. The farmhouse itself is beautiful and full of charm, with a peaceful atmosphere. The host was incredibly kind, spoke Spanish, and made us feel right at home. We also loved meeting the adorable dogs! A perfect place to relax and explore the nearby coastal towns. Highly recommended.
Our host was friendly and very welcoming, giving us advice on where to eat and visit - even making a booking for us for dinner. The breakfast was outstanding- we skipped lunch after eating it!
Can’t recommend this enough! The property was absolutely adorable and the host was the sweetest! Breakfast was delicious and waking up to the breathtaking views was amazing.
Our stay at Netherton Guest House was amazing. We loved the quaint and beautiful atmosphere of the place. The rooms were spacious with the most comfortable bed of our entire vacation. It had beautiful antique furniture, was extremely clean and very quiet. It also had a spectacular view from our windows. The breakfast was exceptional and I really enjoyed Romay the proprietor.
Fantastic place to say with fabulous views over the Cromarty. Really quirky house but full of character and exceedingly clean. Tea and coffee facilities, separate quiet room with ample books etc, secure parking and a thoroughly quiet and relaxing place to stay. Can’t recommend highly enough.
Absolutely a great find. Congenial host and two beautiful, obedient and very friendly dogs. Comfortable, quiet and within easy travelling time to Dingwall and Inverness.
Good food and ambience. The craic is good and the Culbokie Inn is within easy walking distance.
Hugely recommended.
Hidden gem. Well worth a visit. Inverness and Dingwall only minutes away but out in the countryside with fantastic views. Charming host and plenty of choices for breakfast.
Quiet and secluded, within walking distance of the Culbokie Inn where there's an excellent menu and local beers.
Highly recommended.
Friendly and welcoming. Comfortable and clean.
easy access to Inverness and Dingwall but with the quiet of the countryside and great views.
Score - 11/10
Driving into the property we weren’t sire but once inside, we were smitten. Romy (the host) was so accommodating and friendly. The house is impeccable and so quaint. Lots of area for guests to congregate and have entertainment. This was one of the best stays in all of Scotland.
Couthy and comfortable. Host is welcoming and the dogs are extremely well behaved and friendly. Room was spacious and so was the rest of the accommodation.
Quiet area, so good sleep. Great views and in walking distance of the pub which offers good food and drink at a very reasonable price.
Breakfast choices were wide and impressive.
Great value for the money and I would highly recommend Netherton.
Of the 5 locations that we stayed at during our travels in Scotland, this was, by far, the best place! Our room was large, but cozy with an Amazing view, and a super comfortable bed. The decor was beautiful and perfect for the large farmhouse style. The breakfast was Excellent, and catered easily to our dietary needs. (Gluten free, and Lactose free) And our hostess, Romy, was very charming and helpful with suggestions about what local attractions we should see. I wish that we had been able to stay there longer, and I'm recommending this B & B to anyone that I know will be visiting the Highlands and Inverness area.
Very lovely quiet country setting overlooking Cromarty Firth. The hostess was very welcoming and made us feel at home as she showed us our room which was clean, neat and comfortable. We had the full Scottish breakfast both days we were there and it was superb! More than enough food, tea, and coffee to set you up for the day. She gave us recommendations for dinner spots and other sites to see. We had lovely chats and we felt more like company than B&B guests. We highly recommend staying here and we plan to again.
Like staying with relatives, the most welcoming place you could wish for! Room was so comfortable, the views were beyond unreal and the breakfast was great. Actually sad to leave which says it all. Thanks so much!
A real gem in the Highlands! The farm setting is idillic and our host was friendly and fascinating. And don’t miss the nearby Culbokie pub for a good dinner and local flavor.
