"We ended up not staying because after i booked they listed all the fees. You have to check in by 8 pm but is listed as 2:30am and there is a $20 per person per day fee to use the pool. And you have to give a 48 hr notice to even use the pool and i booked last minute so that would have been a waste too. To use the hot tub its $100 extra but that is the only thing listed before you book. It would not have been worth the 3.5 hr drive we were going to make. "

"The property is super cool and unique! Sitting out on the deck was amazing.....surrounded by nature....family of swans, blue heron, and even some deer across the stream.The inside couch is a worn and covered in blankets to hide the wear and tear.....other than that the place was clean.If you plan on using the hot tub, i would recommend bringing extra towels. There are 6 bath towels (small bath towels), but no extras for the hot tub if 6 guests are staying.All in All.....great place! Would recommend!We ate at Luna's Mexican, just up the street.....very good Mexican!We hiked at Hanging Rock on Saturday and then visited down town Mt. airy We had dinner Saturday night at The Big Creek Lodge (recommend makimg a reservation in case they have an event)....5 minute drive from The Mill.Big Creek has a great view, great food, and friendly staff!! We enjoyed it so much we went back Sunday for breakfast for homemade Bearclaws!!!"
